Living a W.E.L.L. life means learning to Worship, Encourage, Learn, and Love every day. These four values shape a faith that’s active, authentic, and centered on Jesus Christ. Whether you’re at home, at work, or in your community, these are simple ways to live your faith well each day.
Worship: A Life That Honors God Every Day
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” (Romans 12:1, NIV)
“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” (Romans 12:1, NLT)
Worship isn’t limited to singing in church. It’s how we live, think, and respond to God daily. Every decision, word, and action can be an offering of praise when it reflects His character.
Ways to practice daily worship:
- Begin your morning with gratitude and prayer.
- Acknowledge God’s presence in your work and decisions.
- Serve others as an act of worship, not obligation.
- Choose obedience and integrity as ways to honor Him.
Worship is about living with awareness that your whole life belongs to God.
Encourage: Strengthen Others in Faith and Hope
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11, NIV)
“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11, NLT)
Every believer needs encouragement. Speaking life into others is part of how we share Christ’s love and help strengthen faith in a weary world. Encouragement is more than comfort—it’s calling people to keep going in faith.
Ways to encourage others each day:
- Offer a kind word or message of hope.
- Pray for someone, then let them know you did.
- Be quick to listen and slow to criticize.
- Share Scripture or a testimony that builds faith.
Encouragement helps people remember that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.
Learn: Grow Deeper in God’s Word and Wisdom
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16–17, NIV)
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” (2 Timothy 3:16, NLT)
Faith grows stronger through continual learning. Reading, studying, and applying Scripture equips believers to live wisely and serve faithfully.
Ways to grow through learning:
- Spend time in daily Bible reading and prayer.
- Use a Bible study tool or reading plan that challenges you.
- Memorize a verse each week and apply it.
- Discuss Scripture with others in a small group or family setting.
When we learn God’s Word, we gain wisdom for living and strength for serving.
Love: Live Out God’s Heart Toward Others
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34, NIV)
“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.” (John 13:34, NLT)
Love is the mark of a follower of Jesus. It’s more than emotion—it’s action. Love serves, forgives, and puts others before self.
Ways to live out God’s love:
- Look for opportunities to serve in small, practical ways.
- Forgive quickly and speak kindly.
- Show compassion to those who are struggling.
- Pray for those who are difficult to love.
When we live in love, we reflect the heart of Christ and make His presence visible in the world around us.
Living Well Faith Daily
To live well in faith is to live intentionally—with hearts that worship, hands that serve, minds that learn, and voices that encourage. The W.E.L.L. life isn’t about perfection, but about direction—growing each day to look more like Jesus and helping others do the same.
