What Is Well Faith?
Well Faith is an outreach ministry I’ve developed over many years, long before I began serving as pastor of Rockwell Church. Its purpose is to help people understand God’s Word, grow in faith, and follow Jesus in everyday life. Through sermons, Bible teaching, and practical Christian resources, I want to encourage people to develop a faith that makes a difference in how they live. Using Well Faith also helps people find my content when they don’t know how to spell “Teien” my last name.
The name WELL Faith reflects four important priorities for Christian living:
- Worship: Honoring God with our lives.
- Encourage: Building one another up in faith.
- Learn: Growing in our understanding of God’s Word.
- Love: Following Jesus by loving God and others.
These priorities have helped shape my approach to preaching, teaching, and ministry. I believe God’s Word is meant to be understood, trusted, and put into practice, not simply heard on Sunday morning.
How the Well Faith Concept Became Part of Rockwell Church
When I first came to Rockwell Church in Virginia, Minnesota, I explained my strategy for using Well Faith to reach people beyond the walls of the church through sermon audio and online Bible teaching. The church was excited about the opportunity and welcomed Well Faith as part of its outreach and missions efforts, connecting the ministry with Rockwell Church while allowing the broader sermon archive to continue growing.
Today, Well Faith continues as an outreach ministry that includes current Sunday messages from Rockwell Church alongside selected sermons from my previous years of pastoral ministry. This provides opportunities to share the Bible with listeners around the world while also helping people in Northern Minnesota discover Rockwell Church and connect with a local church family.
Chris Teien | Well Faith Sermons
One of the primary ways I share biblical teaching through this outreach is my audio podcast, Chris Teien | Well Faith Sermons. It features current Sunday messages from Rockwell Church, selected sermons from my years of pastoral ministry, Christian testimonies, and occasional guest speakers.
The podcast includes hundreds of messages covering Bible passages, Christian living, relationships, faith, spiritual growth, and the challenges people face in everyday life. New messages are added regularly, and classic replay messages from the archives that have been updated are marked with an asterisk (*).
The complete sermon audio archive is hosted at wellfaith.buzzsprout.com. You can listen online, browse episodes, and find teaching from a variety of sermon series and Scripture passages. The Well.faith website serves as a convenient landing page with podcast listening options, audio players, and links to video teaching.
Why a Broader Sermon Archive?
Rather than creating a podcast limited to messages from one church, I’ve found value in maintaining a larger collection of Bible teaching from my different seasons of ministry. This allows listeners to discover sermons on a wider variety of topics and Scripture passages, including messages that might otherwise remain in an archive and rarely be heard again.
Well Faith has grown to include approximately twice as many episodes as a Rockwell Church-only podcast and has approached 50,000 downloads over the years. Its reach has extended well beyond Northern Minnesota, connecting people with biblical teaching and encouragement in many different places.
I believe this broader approach offers a valuable outreach opportunity for Rockwell Church. Current Sunday sermons introduce listeners to the church’s teaching ministry, while the larger archive provides more opportunities for people to discover the podcast and hear God’s Word. The goal is not to compete with the local church but to support its mission and help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

You’re Invited to Rockwell Church
While Well Faith reaches people in many places, I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to serve the Virginia, Eveleth, and surrounding Iron Range communities through Rockwell Church. Many of the newest sermons on the podcast are preached during our Sunday worship services.
If you live in the area or are visiting Northern Minnesota, I’d love to have you join us. Rockwell Church is a place to worship God, learn from His Word, build friendships, and grow together in faith. Whether you’re exploring Christianity, returning to church, or looking for a church family, you’re welcome.
Sunday worship begins at 10:15 AM. Sunday School meets from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, and nursery and Kids Church are available during the worship service.
More Bible Teaching and Ministry Resources
In addition to the sermon audio archive, here on ChrisTeien.com you’ll find Bible study guides, sermon manuscripts, articles, and practical ministry resources. Many of these materials have been developed from messages I’ve preached over the years, with the goal of helping people study Scripture more deeply and apply biblical truth to everyday life.
Whether you’re listening to a sermon, reading an article, or working through a Bible study, my desire is to point you to Jesus Christ and encourage you to grow in your understanding of God’s Word.
Watch and Connect
I also share sermon videos, short Bible teaching clips, and practical Christian encouragement through YouTube and social media. You can follow both my personal teaching channels and Rockwell Church to find additional messages and ministry updates.
Helping you understand and apply God’s Word.
