Well Faith Wins

“Well Faith Wins” is an encouraging phrase that expresses the heart of what I want to share. It is simple, memorable, and positive. More than that, it points people back to Jesus. At the end of the day, this is not about clever marketing. It is about a truth I have seen again and again in life and ministry: when our faith is rooted in Christ, we win. Not with trophies or applause, but with peace, hope, joy, rewards, and eternal life.

For years I have been living and teaching what I call Well Faith. It is more than a slogan or an idea. It is a reminder and a rallying cry. The message is that when our faith is healthy, growing, and centered on Christ, it overcomes. It stays strong through trials and keeps hope alive.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10:4, “They drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.” In the wilderness, God brought water from a rock to keep His people alive. That miracle pointed forward to Jesus. He is the Rock and the source of living water that satisfies our deepest thirst.

That image of the Rock and the Well connects deeply to my heart for ministry. When the church asked me for a name suggestion, I suggested Rockwell Church because it represents that same truth. Christ is the Rock. He is the source of living water. He is the one who strengthens His people. Well Faith Wins communicates that truth clearly. It reflects the same message I preach and live out in the local church, in a way that can also reach people who may not yet be connected to a church family.

What “Well” Means

The word “well” brings two powerful images to mind.

First, a well is where people draw water. In Scripture, wells are places of refreshment and life. Think of the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well, when Jesus offered her living water that would never run dry. Our faith works the same way. If it is shallow, it dries up when life gets hard. But if it is rooted in Christ, it stays fresh and strong.

Second, “well” speaks of health and wholeness. A faith that is well is not half-hearted or weak. It is alive and active. For more than twenty-five years, I have used W.E.L.L. as an acronym: Worshiping, Encouraging, Learning, and Loving.

That is what I want our lives and ministries to be about.
We worship God first.
We encourage one another.
We learn and grow in His Word.
We love in ways that make a difference.

W.E.L.L. is both a motivator and a compass, keeping us walking with Jesus and experiencing spiritual victory.

What “Faith” Means

At the center of this phrase is faith. Faith is more than agreeing with certain facts about God. It is trusting Him with your whole life. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

That kind of faith keeps us steady when everything around us feels shaky. I have seen faith carry people through transitions, challenges, and hardship. I have also seen what happens when people try to go it alone. Faith is not optional. It is the difference between standing firm and falling apart.

Faith connects us to the power, presence, and promises of God. It keeps us going when we cannot see the outcome and strengthens us to trust His timing and purpose.

What “Wins” Means

Everybody likes the sound of winning, but this is not about beating others or appearing successful in the world’s eyes. This is about the victory that comes through Jesus.

1 John 5:4 says, “Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”

Faith wins because Jesus has already won. He conquered sin, death, and the grave through His death and resurrection. Because He wins, our faith in Him makes us victorious.

Faith wins over fear.
Faith wins over doubt.
Faith wins over discouragement and confusion.

The cross was not a loss. It was the greatest victory of all. When we put our trust in the risen Christ, we share in that victory.

Why “Well Faith Wins” Matters

I believe Well Faith Wins captures something that people need to hear today. It points directly to Christ. It is simple, hopeful, and easy to remember. And it spreads encouragement in a world filled with negativity and distraction.

It connects to my story and to the message I have preached for years. Christ is the Rock who provides living water. That same truth runs through everything I teach, whether in a sermon, a podcast, or a conversation over coffee.

When people see or hear Well Faith Wins, I hope they understand a few simple truths:

  • Christ is the source. He is the Rock who provides living water.
  • Faith is the way forward. We trust God even when we cannot see the outcome.
  • Victory is real. Not because of us, but because of what Christ has already done.
  • Living it out is holistic. Worshiping, encouraging, learning, and loving are the marks of well faith.

This is not just a phrase. It is a message people can hold onto and live by. It lifts up Christ in a way that is both hopeful and practical.

I believe Well Faith Wins because Jesus wins. He is the reason faith wins. He is the Rock who gives living water, and He is the one who gives us peace, purpose, and everlasting life.
