Free Church Offering Scripts to Encourage Giving and Stewardship

As a Christ-follower who learned the value of tithing and the rewards of biblical generosity before I became a pastor, I teach fully devoted Christ-followers about biblical stewardship and the joy of giving. While giving is not a requirement for salvation, it is a wise spiritual discipline that deepens our trust in God and honors Him. Worshiping God through giving—tithing at least 10% of our income—helps support the local church, fund missions and ministries, and care for those in need.

Below, you’ll find a collection of giving scripts that I’ve shared through our weekly email updates. These are available for you to use freely—simply replace Rockwell Church with your church’s name as needed. I will continue updating this page with additional scripts as I write new ones that may be helpful. Also, be sure to check out the list of helpful resources and videos at the bottom of the page for further insights on biblical generosity and financial stewardship.

Clearing a Path Through the Storm

This week’s blizzard reminded me of the snowplow drivers who head out early to clear the snow, salt the roads, and sand the ice so others can move forward safely. They cannot stop the storm, but they help make a way through it.

God does that for us in life’s storms. And as a church, we have the privilege of helping clear a path for people to find hope in Christ. Your giving allows us to keep preaching the Word, caring for families, and serving our community in every season.

Would you prayerfully consider giving this week? You can give online or this Sunday in person. Thank you for trusting God and partnering in His work through every storm.

Faithful Giving Is an Act of Love

As Valentine’s Day approaches, we are reminded that love is more than words. Love is shown through faithfulness. Scripture teaches us that one way we express our love for God is through faithful giving. When we give generously, consistently, and cheerfully, we are trusting God with what He has placed in our hands and investing in the work He is doing through our church. Thank you for your continued faithfulness. Your giving supports ministry, outreach, and the sharing of the gospel in our community and beyond.

Thank you, church family, for your faithfulness and generosity!

At the end of January, we shared that our offering was lower than expected, and you responded with encouragement and action. Many of you stepped up and gave sacrificially, and last Sunday’s offering was a real blessing. We are deeply grateful for your willingness to support the ministry and mission God has entrusted to us.

Paul reminds us that “the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:6), and your generosity reflects that Spirit-led trust. Your giving continues to support worship, discipleship, outreach, and care in our church and community. Thank you for partnering with us and for your continued faithfulness.

“Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.” 1 Corinthians 16:1–2 (NIV)

Moving Forward Together in Faith

We are so blessed to share in this local church together, and those who give to support the ministry play an important part in what God is doing among us. Hebrews 10:24 reminds us to consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Through faithful prayer and generosity, God uses our shared commitment to serve others, encourage one another, and make a real difference in our community. Thank you for praying for our church and for giving to help us keep movin

God Sees When You Put Him First

Thank you for your faithful giving. Psalm 37:4-5 (NLT) reminds us, “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” When we put God first, He sees our trust and faithfulness.

Your generous giving allows us to keep moving forward serving, sharing, caring, and supporting ministries and missionaries. God sees your faithfulness, and He is faithful to reward those who trust Him. You can give online, or in person at church using the Anytime Offering Box across from the church entryway, or on Sundays as you come into the worship service.

Your Generosity Fuels Ministry for this New Year

Our church is beginning a new year of faith filled ministry, and your generosity helps make that possible. When you give, you help support worship and teaching, discipleship and outreach, and the many ways our church cares for people and points them to Jesus. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer, service, and faithful giving as we trust God to use our church for His purposes in 2026.

If you would like to give, you can do so anytime through our online giving option, or during our Sunday worship services. Every gift is an investment in lives being encouraged, families being strengthened, and the gospel being shared in our community. Thank you for giving with gratitude and faith.

Closing the Year with Gratitude and Generosity

Thank you for the many ways you have supported our church family this year through praying, giving, serving, attending, caring, and encouraging others. Your generosity has strengthened the ministry God has entrusted to us.

As we come to the close of the year, we invite you to consider a year end gift. If you would like your offering to count toward this year’s budget, you can give online by midnight tonight, or drop your gift in the church mailbox slot today. Your giving is an act of worship and a meaningful expression of gratitude to the Lord.

Thank you for your faithfulness. Bless you as you continue trusting God, growing in His grace, and serving together with us in the year ahead.

A Simple Invitation to Give

As we celebrate Christmas, we are reminded that God meets us with grace, generosity, and faithfulness. Everything we have comes from Him, and giving is one way we respond with gratitude for what He has done in our lives. Through your giving, Rockwell Church is able to serve people, share the message of Jesus, and continue the everyday work of ministry in our community.

We invite you to give as part of your worship, in whatever way the Lord leads you. You can give anytime using the Anytime Offering Box in the entryway, or you can give online when it is most convenient for you.

Thank you for your generosity, for your faithfulness, and for being part of what God is doing here.

A Christmas Gift of Generosity

As we approach Christmas, we are reminded that God’s greatest gift was freely given. Out of love, He sent His Son to bring light, hope, and salvation to the world. At Rockwell Church, your faithful giving allows that same message of hope to continue reaching lives in our community and beyond. Through your generosity, we are able to share the gospel, care for people in need, and support the ongoing work of ministry during this Christmas season.

As you pray about your giving, we hope your special gift will bring joy to your Christmas worship and celebration of our Savior. You are welcome to give at church at any time using The Anytime Offering Box, a metal box mounted on the wall in the entryway, or you may give online at your convenience. Thank you for your faithfulness, your partnership in ministry, and for helping us point others to Jesus, the greatest gift of all.

Investing in What God Is Doing at Rockwell Church

Rockwell Church is making a difference. Week after week we see lives strengthened, faith renewed, and people encouraged through the ministry God has entrusted to us. This mission moves forward because our church family serves and gives together, and we are so thankful for those of you who give so faithfully and make this ministry possible. Your generosity helps us stay strong, reach more people, and keep moving ahead in the work God has called us to do.

Scripture reminds us that God sees every act of generosity. In 2 Corinthians 9, Paul teaches that those who sow generously will also reap generously, and that God is able to supply all we need so we can continue to abound in every good work. Your giving is never unnoticed. Your end-of-year gift strengthens the ministry and expands our reach. When we give together, we can do more than any one of us could do alone. Thank you for investing in what God is doing through Rockwell Church. May the Lord bless you as you give and as you serve Him.

The Last Month of the Year

As we approach the end of the year, would you prayerfully consider a special year end offering? Giving in this season is an act of worship and gratitude, and it helps us begin the new year on solid footing for ministry. Your generosity allows us to continue sharing the gospel, caring for our church family, supporting the missionaries and ministries we partner with, and reaching our community with Christ’s love. Thank you for giving faithfully and joyfully as the Lord leads. Your partnership makes a real impact.

Finishing the Year with Gratitude and Faith

Thank you for being part of what God is doing at Rockwell Church. As we move through the final weeks of the year, we want to pause and express sincere gratitude. Thank you to those who give faithfully. Even though we are underfunded and behind on our budget, we are still seeing God accomplish so much through this church. We have a large and beautiful church building, and it represents tremendous potential for ministry in the days ahead.

We are thankful for our volunteers who continue to show up and serve. We are thankful for those who pray for our church, pray with our church, and pray through the ministries God has entrusted to us. We are thankful for the lives that are being changed. We are thankful that our messages are being shared across the Range and even around the world.

Please continue praying with us for God’s provision as we finish the year.

We are also thankful that we have simple ways to give, both online anytime during the week and in person on Sundays. Your generosity makes a real difference. Thank you for standing with us in faith, prayer, and generosity as we finish this year strong. Let’s keep trusting the Lord together.

Thankful People Give with Faith

As we enter Thanksgiving week, we remember that every good gift comes from the Lord. When you give, it becomes an act of worship and a tangible indicator of your faith and trust in God. It reflects a heart that recognizes His provision and chooses to honor Him first. Your generosity fuels the ministry of our church and helps us continue reaching people with the hope of Christ.

Thank you for giving faithfully. You can give online anytime or bring your gift with you on Sunday. Your partnership in the work God is doing makes a real difference, and we are truly grateful for you!

Faith and Generosity No Matter the Season

As we move from fall into winter, we are reminded that seasons change quickly. Temperatures drop, leaves fall, and the days get shorter. Life has a way of shifting just as fast. Yet in every season there is one constant presence we can rely on. Our God never changes. His character does not shift with the weather. His promises do not fade when the days grow darker. He remains faithful.

Because He is steady, we can trust Him with every part of our lives, including our finances. Giving declares that God is our provider in every season. It is a way of saying, “Lord, I trust You in the warm months and in the cold ones. I trust You in times of plenty and in times of pressure. I trust that You will care for me as only You can.”

You can give online today or you can give in person this Sunday. Thank you for supporting the ministry and mission of our church in every season.

When Giving Becomes Worship

When giving isn’t viewed as a spiritual act, it doesn’t seem to make sense to give sacrificially. But when we see giving as an act of faith, it changes everything. Giving becomes worship, an expression of trust in the God who provides. Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). Paul reminded the Corinthians that “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7), and that when we give generously, God is able to bless us abundantly so we can keep on being a blessing (2 Corinthians 9:8). When you give this Sunday at church or anytime online, remember this isn’t a transaction; it’s a declaration of faith. It’s saying, “Lord, I trust You more than my possessions.” When giving is a spiritual thing, it doesn’t make sense not to.

Giving That Puts God First

Tithing isn’t an archaic Old Testament ritual, it’s a wise and worshipful way to use the resources God has entrusted to you for what truly matters. Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21 NIV). Giving keeps your heart aligned with His priorities and reminds you that everything belongs to Him. “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing” (Proverbs 3:9–10 NIV). Thank you for using what God has blessed you with to support His work and help others experience His grace.

Steady Faith in Uncertain Times

With the federal government shut down, uncertainty about Iron Range jobs and mining, while prices and taxes keep climbing, it’s easy to feel unsettled about the days ahead. But God’s work doesn’t stop when the world slows down. His faithfulness isn’t shaken by politics or the economy, and He continues to use His people to share hope, serve others, and remind our community that Christ is still the solid foundation.

Your giving helps keep that mission strong by helping families find encouragement, supporting church ministry, missionaries, benevolence, outreach, and showing what faith looks like when times are uncertain. Scripture reminds us, “Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” (Hebrews 13:16 NIV). You can give securely anytime at https://Rockwell.Church/Give or during worship this Sunday. Thank you for staying faithful and generous. Your steady faith points people to an unshakable God.

Holy Giving

Living a holy life means setting every part of our lives apart for God, including our finances. Proverbs 3:9 says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” Giving is an act of worship that declares God comes first and invests in what matters for eternity. Your giving is making a difference, helping share the gospel and meet real needs. Thank you for your faithful generosity.

Partnering in God’s Work

Your faithful giving makes a real difference. It supports missionaries taking the gospel to the world, ministries that meet real needs, and ministers who serve faithfully. Scripture reminds us that there is lasting reward for those who give to the Lord’s work. No church can survive without the prayers, volunteer service, and financial support of the people who gather there. Thank you for your faithful giving. It truly matters. You can give at church in person or anytime securely online to support the ongoing work of the ministry.

Planting Generosity, Growing Impact

God created us like pumpkins – full of seeds designed to multiply and make a difference in the world. When we give generously, we are planting spiritual seeds that God can use to grow a harvest of changed lives, both now and for eternity. Every act of giving is an investment in the future, a way of partnering with the Lord to spread His Word and His love. Thank you to all who give faithfully and sacrificially. Your generosity is vital for the ministry of our church, and through your support, we are able to reach people with the gospel, nurture faith, and serve our community in Jesus’ name.

Life Is Short so Let’s Make It Count for Christ

Life is short, and every day we are reminded that our time here is limited. Eternity is real, and so are the spiritual battles we face. God has called us as a church to stand together, to shine His light, and to bring hope to those who are lost and hurting.

The tides of culture can shift. Currently, people are more open to Christian & traditional values after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. This is a moment when the church must not shrink back but rise up with courage and faith.

But right now, our giving is too low. The work of ministry depends on the faithful generosity of God’s people. We cannot sit back while the enemy advances and our resources run short. Scripture tells us that where our treasure is, there our heart will be also (Matthew 6:21).

This is not just about meeting a budget – it is about investing in eternal impact. Every dollar given helps fuel worship, discipleship, outreach, and care for those in need. Your giving is part of the battle. Your sacrifice is part of the mission.

I am asking you to pray and give generously. If you have been waiting for a sign, let this be it. Now is the time. We need your partnership so that together we can keep moving forward in the strength of the Lord.

Let us give not out of pressure, but out of faith and joy, trusting that God is able to bless us abundantly so that we may abound in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).

Faithful Giving in Changing Seasons

As we come to the middle of September, we are reminded that the seasons of life pass more quickly than we often expect. Just as the leaves change, so do the seasons of our lives. That is why it is so important to invest in what truly lasts. We are grateful for those of you who take investing in Jesus’ kingdom seriously. Your generosity, your prayers, and your daily faithfulness are making an eternal difference. Scripture reminds us in Matthew 6:20 to store up treasures in heaven, where nothing can destroy them. Every gift we bring is an investment in God’s kingdom. You can give online anytime or here at church on Sunday as we continue to honor Christ together.

Investing in the Harvest

Timing makes all the difference when it comes to harvest. Sometimes the crop comes in quicker than expected, pushed along by an early frost, and if the field is not ready the opportunity can be lost. Jesus reminded us, “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest” (John 4:35, NIV). That is true in ministry too. God gives us moments to reach people, invest in kids, and reach out to our community. Your giving helps us be ready when those moments come. Thank you for giving faithfully and helping us be prepared for the opportunities God sets before us. You can give during worship or online anytime

Partnering Together in September

A new school year has started, the trees are beginning to change, and frost is already in the forecast. With the change of seasons, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and the opportunity we have to continue His work together.

The past couple of weeks have been lean financially, and your ongoing generosity is vital to sustaining the ministry of our church. Thank you to those who give in person and online. As Jesus said, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap” (Luke 6:38). As we step into September, would you prayerfully consider making an offering to help us start this season strong? Every gift makes a difference as we share Christ’s love and serve our community.

Worshiping Through Our Giving This Labor Day Weekend

As summer winds down and a new school year begins, we’re reminded that life is full of changing seasons. Some families are preparing for the first day of school, while others are in a season where children are grown and life looks different. In every stage, one thing remains the same: God’s faithfulness. Your giving is a real expression of your worship and makes a difference in every season of life and ministry for you and our church. You can give online anytime or in person at church. Thank you for being faithful and generous. As Psalm 37:4 reminds us, when we delight in the Lord, He gives us the desires of our heart.

Thankful for Your Commitment

As we come to the end of summer, we want to pause and thank God for you. Thank you to those who faithfully pray, attend, and give. In a time when many approach church as consumers rather than committed members, you are truly a blessing. We are grateful for your generosity, whether you give here in person, mail in your gifts, or give online while away. God sees your faithfulness, and His Word reminds us that He blesses the cheerful giver. Thank you for being part of what He is doing through this church.

Partnering Together as the Seasons Change

As summer begins to wind down and families prepare for a new school year, Rockwell Church continues to move forward in ministry. In this season of transition, your faithful giving helps us equip all ages with the hope of Christ. From children learning God’s Word in Sunday School, to students finding encouragement in youth group, to adults growing in faith through worship and fellowship and your generosity makes these ministries possible. Would you prayerfully consider giving this week to help us finish the summer strong and enter the fall ready for all God has in store? Your gift – large or small – helps us reach our community and beyond with the message of Jesus. Give online today or during Sunday’s service. Thank you for being part of what God is doing through Rockwell Church.

Giving as an Act of Trust and Worship

David begins Psalm 25 by saying, “O Lord, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God.” (vv. 1–2, NLT) Giving is one way we live out that same heart of surrender and trust. It’s a declaration of worship—a tangible act that says, “God, I trust You with everything.” As you seek God’s path this week, let your generosity reflect your faith. You can give online anytime at rockwell.church/give or in person this Sunday. Thank you for faithfully supporting the mission and ministry of Rockwell Church.

Help Us Get Ready for a New Season

As July wraps up, we begin to feel the shift. The days grow shorter, back-to-school ads fill the stores, and the final month of summer is already underway. Believe it or not, the 90-day forecast is even teasing snowflakes. Seasons change quickly. Life keeps moving. But some things last. This is a time to enjoy what remains of summer, prepare for a new school year, and reflect on how we can invest in what matters most: our faith, our families, and the mission God has given us together.

At Rockwell Church, we are preparing for a new season of ministry with fresh opportunities to serve, welcome, and grow. Your faithful giving helps us move forward with strength: supporting families, launching ministry initiatives, and sharing the hope of Jesus with our community. Would you consider making a special gift or setting up a recurring offering as an act of worship and trust? As we enjoy the warmth of summer and brace for the first chill of fall, let’s plant seeds that will bear fruit far beyond this season. Even when life is full of disappointments, God reminds us not to grow weary in doing good. “At the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).

Weather-Proof Faith

This summer has reminded us how unpredictable life can be—flooding rains, smoky skies, and unexpected changes. But in the middle of all that, one thing remains certain: Jesus never changes. He’s steady, faithful, and trustworthy through every storm.

Giving is an act of faith. It’s saying, “Lord, I trust You more than my circumstances.” Even when the forecast is uncertain, we can give with confidence—because God is our Provider in every season.

Let’s give this week with weather-proof faith—anchored in Jesus, unwavering in trust.

Your Faithfulness Makes a Difference

As we continue to seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33), let’s remember that giving is an act of worship and trust. Your generosity not only supports the ministries of our church—it also reflects a heart fully committed to Jesus and His mission.

Hebrews 13:16 reminds us, “Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

Whether you give in person, online, or by mail, thank you for being part of what God is doing through our church family. Your faithfulness makes ministry possible—and it makes a difference.

Let’s not grow weary in doing good. Let’s give with joy and purpose this week!

Responding to God’s Goodness

When we stop to consider how good God has been to us, it’s only natural to ask, “What shall I return to the Lord for all His goodness to me?” (Psalm 116:12). One way we respond is through faithful, joyful giving—offering back a portion of what He’s given us. As Psalm 116:14 says, “I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all His people.” Whether you give in person this Sunday or online today, thank you for being part of what God is doing through our church.

Support the Mission—Give Online or In Person

As we celebrate the freedom we enjoy this weekend, we’re reminded that true freedom comes from Christ—and with that freedom comes the opportunity to be generous. You can give online or in person on Sunday. Your giving supports the ongoing ministries of our church, helps us care for our missionaries, and meets real needs through our Benevolent Fund. Every gift makes a difference. Thank you for using your freedom to serve, give, and invest in God’s kingdom work.

Storing Treasure Where It Counts

As June comes to a close, we’ve seen wildfires, war threats, heat waves, and heavy rain—reminders that this world is not our home. This sure isn’t heaven. But Jesus reminds us to store up treasure in heaven, where nothing can destroy it (Matthew 6:20). One way we do that is by investing in His Kingdom with our time, talent, and treasure.

Thank you for supporting Rockwell Church and the ministry God is doing here. You can give in person or online at rockwell.church/give. If you’re not getting email updates, take a moment to sign up and stay connected. Let’s keep making an eternal difference together.

Giving Hope in a World on Edge

As we look at the world around us—tensions rising, wars and rumors of wars, and headlines that read like the opening scenes of an end-times movie—we’re reminded that the work of the Church is more urgent than ever. With threats of nuclear conflict between Iran and Israel, many are asking questions about life, faith, and eternity. Now is the time for us to shine God’s light and share His hope.

That’s why Rockwell Church continues to reach people in every way we can—here in person on Sunday mornings, online through YouTube and the Well Faith Sermon Audio Podcast, and through personal connections throughout our community. Every message shared, every soul encouraged, and every act of ministry happens because of your generosity.

When you give, you’re not just supporting a church—you’re investing in God’s mission. You’re showing your love for the Lord and helping us point people to the only true source of peace, hope, and salvation: Jesus Christ. Thank you for giving faithfully and helping us continue to be a light in these uncertain days.

From VBS to Fatherhood: Giving & Building Lives Together

This week, our church was filled with the energy and joy of Vacation Bible School! We had an incredible group of kids learning about God’s truth and love, and a fantastic team of volunteers who gave their time and hearts to make it all possible. What a beautiful picture of what happens when the whole church invests in the next generation.

As we celebrate Father’s Day this Sunday, we’re reminded of the powerful role men of faith play in shaping families and communities. Your giving supports ministries like VBS, equips fathers and families, and helps us continue to be a church where all generations grow in grace. Thank you for your generosity—it fuels the mission, honors God, and changes lives. If you’d like to set up a recurring gift or give online, it’s easy to do through our Realm giving platform. Let’s keep building something eternal, together.

New Roads, Same Mission

With the new and improved roads and even roundabouts being built in our area—even right near the church—it’s a good reminder that while directions may shift, our purpose never changes. At Rockwell Church, we exist to point people to the narrow road that leads to life—Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

We want to continue being a strong and valuable destination in our region—a place where people encounter God’s grace, grow in their faith, and find lasting hope. Your faithful giving makes that possible. Even when the roads around us are under construction, God is still building something powerful through this church.

If you’re traveling or away this summer, you can help us stay strong by setting up scheduled giving through our secure Realm site. It’s an easy way to keep ministry moving forward—even when you’re on vacation.

Thank you for your generosity, and for helping others find their way to Jesus.

Summer is Here, But Ministry Never Stops

Summer is a season of sunshine, vacations, and family fun—and we hope you find time to rest and recharge. But as we enter this summer season, let’s remember: while we may take a break, the mission of Rockwell Church never takes a vacation. Ministry continues, and so do the needs that support it. We are so grateful for those who give faithfully—whether in person, online, by mail, or through bank bill pay. Your generosity keeps the lights on, the doors open, and the work of the church moving forward. Thank you for partnering with us in ministry this summer!

True Sacrifice Is Heroic

This Memorial Day weekend, we remember the heroes who gave their lives so others could live in freedom. Their courageous sacrifice calls us to live with purpose—and to give with gratitude. Your giving is an act of sacrifice. It’s a quiet, powerful way of saying, “I believe in God’s work, and I want to be part of something that lasts forever.” When you give, you help Rockwell Church share the hope of Jesus, serve those in need, and build up the next generation in faith. Let’s follow the example of true heroes by living generously and investing in what matters most.
You can give this Sunday on your way in or out of the worship service—just look for the offering box by the door—or give anytime online at rockwell.church/give. Thank you for giving faithfully and sacrificially.

Giving Because of Grace: For All God Has Done—and Will Do

As we move through this week, let’s take a moment to reflect on the grace of God—not just what He’s already done in our lives, but what He’s still doing and preparing for the future. When we give, we’re not paying God back—we’re responding in gratitude. Like King David once prayed, “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand” (1 Chronicles 29:14, NIV). Every gift we bring is a reminder that God is the source of all we have and the One who is building what’s ahead. Your generosity helps share the message of Jesus, support meaningful ministry, and build up a community where grace continues to change lives. Thank you for giving faithfully—for today and for the future!

Honor the Lord This Mother’s Day

This Sunday at Rockwell Church, we’ll celebrate Mother’s Day — a meaningful time to honor and thank God for the moms, grandmothers, and spiritual mothers who have shaped our lives with love, sacrifice, and faith.

Just as we show honor and gratitude to the mothers in our lives, we also want to honor the Lord with our giving. Your generosity helps strengthen the ministries of Rockwell Church — supporting children, youth, families, outreach, and gospel ministry in our community.

Thank you for giving with joy and purpose, and for helping us share God’s love with others. Whether you give in the offering box, online, or by mail, you are making an eternal difference!

A New Season for Growth and Generosity

As we step into a new month and a new season, there’s something refreshing about May in northern Minnesota. The snow has melted, the days are getting warmer, and signs of new life are everywhere. Just like the changing season, this is also a season of fresh opportunities for Rockwell Church.

We’ve endured a long winter together—not just physically, but spiritually and financially. And yet, God has been faithful, and so have many of you. Thank you. As we look ahead to summer ministries and new opportunities to connect with our neighbors, your generosity helps make it all possible.

Jesus taught us that “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21 NIV). When you give to Rockwell Church, you’re not just keeping the lights on—you’re investing in life-changing ministry, gospel outreach, and spiritual growth.

You can give today online at rockwell.church/give, or give in person on Sunday as you walk into the worship service—or anytime you’re in the building—by using the Anytime Offering box mounted on the wall across from the front entry doors.

Let’s sow generously, pray proactively, and trust God for a great season ahead..

Living Generously in Light of the Resurrection

Last Sunday, we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus—a powerful reminder that death does not have the final word, and that through Christ, we have been given new life. But the story doesn’t end with an empty tomb. After Jesus rose from the dead, He sent His followers into the world to share the good news, serve others, and build His church.

This week, we have the opportunity to respond to the risen Savior not only with our worship, but also with our giving. Our offering is one way we live out the resurrection—it’s a declaration that Jesus is alive and worthy of our trust, even with our finances.

2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV) says, “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

When we give faithfully, it fuels the mission of the church, provides for ministry needs, and becomes a testimony of God’s grace at work through us. Let’s give joyfully, knowing that we are investing in something eternal.

You can give at church by placing your offering in the box near the doorway or by giving online at rockwell.church/give. And don’t forget—you can also drop your prayer or connect card in the box. Let’s continue living in the power of the resurrection.

Worship Through Giving This Holy Week

As we reflect on the incredible sacrifice Jesus made on the cross and celebrate the power of His resurrection, we’re reminded of the gift of grace freely given to us. One meaningful way we can respond is through generosity—giving back to God as an act of worship.

At Rockwell Church, your faithful giving helps us share the message of hope found in Jesus with our community and beyond. Whether it’s through our worship services, children’s ministries, outreach efforts, or care for those in need, every gift makes an eternal impact.

If you feel led, we invite you to give during this Easter week—either in person at the offering box near the doorway or online anytime at rockwell.church/give. Thank you for being part of what God is doing through Rockwell Church.

Let’s celebrate the risen Savior and continue the mission together!

Palm Sunday: Show Up, Take Action, Honor Jesus

On the first Palm Sunday, the crowd didn’t just watch—they showed up and took action. They laid down palm branches and cloaks, lifting their voices in praise to honor Jesus as King.

Today, we may not have palm branches to lay down, but we still have an opportunity to honor Him.

As we prepare to gather this Palm Sunday, consider how your giving can be an act of worship. When you give, you’re saying, “Jesus, You’re worth it.” And you’re helping fund the work He wants to do through Rockwell Church—reaching hearts, changing lives, and spreading hope.

Let’s follow the example of that first crowd—show up, take action, and honor Jesus with our voices, our hearts, and our gifts.

Give in person this Sunday or online anytime

God Is Providing—Through People Like You

People sometimes ask, “How are the church finances doing?” That’s a great question—and we want you to know how much we appreciate your support.

Rockwell Church is entirely funded through the faithful and generous giving of those who call this church home. We don’t receive funding from outside sources—everything that happens here is because of how God works through people like you. Thank you!

We’re praising God that we’ve been able to meet our current obligations, including caring for our building, supporting our missionaries, and continuing ministry in our community. Now is a time where a lot of bills need to be paid, and every gift truly makes a difference.

So we’re asking you to pray with us—for wisdom, provision, and continued fruitfulness. And if the Lord puts it on your heart to give—whether for the first time, as a renewed commitment, or as an ongoing part of your worship—we are truly grateful.

To those who give faithfully: thank you. You are helping change lives.

To those who are considering a next step: know that your giving not only honors God but helps fuel the mission He’s given us—to make disciples, love our community, and grow together in faith.

We’re trusting God, and we’re thankful to walk this journey together with you.

We Get to Give – What an Honor and Blessing

In 1 Chronicles 29, King David set the tone for generous giving when he gave “with all my resources for the temple of my God”. He didn’t give out of obligation but out of deep devotion and joy. And after giving from his personal treasures of gold and silver, he asked this powerful question in verse 14:

“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” —1 Chronicles 29:14 (NIV)

David recognized something many people forget: giving is not about losing something—it’s about returning what God has entrusted to us and joining in His mission. It’s not something we have to do—it’s something we get to do.

When we withhold, we often do so out of fear or forgetfulness. We forgo the joy and the eternal rewards that come with generosity. But underneath it all, it’s often a matter of trust. Do we trust that God will continue to provide if we give generously? Do we believe His promises?

Here are just a few of God’s giving promises:

  • Luke 6:38 — “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.”
  • Proverbs 11:25 — “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
  • 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 — “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly… And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

These aren’t gimmicks. These are truths from God’s Word. Giving is an act of worship and faith. When we give, we declare with our actions: God, I trust You. I believe You are my provider. And I want to invest in what matters most—Your Kingdom.

So this week, don’t miss out. Don’t let fear steal your joy. Don’t let forgetfulness rob you of eternal rewards. Give generously, cheerfully, and faithfully—just like David did.

Let’s give not because we have to… but because we get to.

Your Giving Makes a Difference

When you give to Rockwell Church, you’re not just supporting a building—you’re investing in God’s work. Your generosity helps sustain our church, strengthen local ministries, and support missionaries from the Indian reservation to communities around the world.

Every gift, big or small, helps us shine the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs His truth and love. Would you consider giving this week?

You can give securely online anytime or bring your gift to Sunday’s service.

Thank you for being a vital part of what God is doing through Rockwell Church!

Faithful Giving: Staying Anchored in Christ

This Sunday, we continue our series in Jude with a powerful message from Jude 1:5-16 about learning from past examples and avoiding the dangers that can shipwreck our faith. Jude gives both warnings and promises—reminding us that faithfulness to God leads to His blessing, while turning away from Him leads to destruction.

This truth applies not only to our walk with Christ but also to how we steward our resources. Throughout Scripture, we see that trusting God with our finances leads to provision, peace, and purpose (Malachi 3:10, 2 Corinthians 9:6-8). But neglecting this trust can cause us to drift into anxiety, misplaced priorities, or spiritual stagnation. Giving is an act of faith that keeps us anchored in God’s promises—reminding us that He is our provider, and His Church is His mission to reach the world.

We invite you to give generously and joyfully as an expression of trust in God’s faithfulness. You can give in person this Sunday or conveniently give online anytime. May we be a people who stay firm in our faith and faithful in our giving as we build God’s Kingdom together!

Honoring God Through Generosity

As winter storms come and go, we rely on snowplows to clear the way, making travel possible and safe. In the same way, Jesus cleared the way for us to have a personal relationship with God—both now and for all eternity. Just as a snowplow removes barriers and allows us to move forward, His sacrifice removes every obstacle between us and God. Because of His great love, we are called to honor Him with our lives, including how we give.

We are so grateful for those who have gone before us—those who sacrificed, prayed, and gave generously so that we can enjoy the blessings we have today. As we continue forward, your faithful giving through tithes and offerings helps keep our church strong and allows us to impact our community with the love of Christ.

You can give securely online or in person this Sunday. Every gift matters and makes a difference. Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness!

Faithful Giving: Staying Anchored in Christ

Paul warned Timothy about those who had shipwrecked their faith by rejecting a good conscience and failing to hold firmly to the truth (1 Timothy 1:19). Throughout Scripture, we see the importance of learning from past examples—how faithfulness to God leads to blessing, while turning away from Him leads to hardship. This principle applies not only to our walk with Christ but also to how we steward our resources. Trusting God with our finances leads to provision, peace, and purpose (Malachi 3:10, 2 Corinthians 9:6-8). But neglecting this trust can cause us to drift into anxiety, misplaced priorities, or spiritual stagnation. Giving is an act of faith that keeps us anchored in Christ and His promises—reminding us that He is our provider, and His Church is His mission to reach the world.

The Bible gives us many examples of faithful givers who remained anchored in God. Abraham honored God by giving a tenth of all he had to Melchizedek, recognizing that his blessings came from the Lord (Genesis 14:18-20). Jacob vowed to give a tenth of all he gained, anchoring his trust in God’s faithfulness as he journeyed forward (Genesis 28:20-22). Nehemiah led the people to faithfully support the work of the temple, ensuring that worship and ministry continued, keeping the people anchored in God’s purposes (Nehemiah 10:35-39). These examples remind us that when we give faithfully, we reaffirm our trust in Christ as our provider and remain anchored in His mission.

We invite you to give generously and joyfully as an expression of trust in God’s faithfulness. You can give in person this Sunday or conveniently give online anytime. May we be a people who stay firm in our faith and faithful in our giving as we remain anchored in Christ and build God’s Kingdom together!

Honoring God’s Blessings in Work, School and Play

God’s blessings surround us in every part of life—at work, in school, and even in the moments we enjoy with family and friends. Whether we’re earning a living, learning new things, or finding joy in play, all of it is a gift from God.

Colossians 3:17 – “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

When we give back to the Lord, we acknowledge that everything we have comes from Him. Our jobs provide for our needs, our education equips us for the future, and even our rest and recreation refresh us for the work He calls us to do. Giving is our way of saying, “Lord, I trust You with everything—my work, my studies, my time, and my resources.” As you give, consider how God has blessed you in these areas. Let your offering be a reflection of gratitude for His provision, guidance, and joy in every season of life.

Valentines Day Week

What will we spend to show our love?

This week, as we consider Valentine’s Day, we take time to express love to those who are special to us. Whether through kind words, thoughtful gifts, or acts of service, we show how much we value them. In the same way, our giving is an expression of love to God—demonstrating our trust, worship, and devotion to Him.

The Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 (NIV): “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Just as we delight in giving to those we love, let us also give joyfully and generously to the Lord, trusting that He will provide for all our needs. Our offering today is more than just financial support—it is an act of worship, a declaration of our love for God, and an investment in His kingdom. Thank you for supporting Rockwell Church with your faithful giving!

Superbowl Sunday:

Participate on God’s Winning Team – Invest in What Lasts!

As we prepare for another great Sunday at Rockwell Church, we invite you to consider how your giving makes a lasting impact for God’s Kingdom. This Sunday evening, millions will watch two football teams battle on the field for 60 minutes, striving for a temporary reward—but what about the eternal impact of investing in God’s work? The players dedicate their time, energy, and resources for a championship that will fade, yet Jesus calls us to invest in something that lasts forever. “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.” (Matthew 6:20). Just as athletes give their all for the game, we are invited to faithfully invest our time, treasure, and talents in God’s work, knowing that He rewards those who serve Him. As the world cheers for champions, let’s remember that true victory comes from putting God first and supporting His mission through joyful generosity. You can give online anytime or in person this Sunday—thank you for being part of God’s winning team at Rockwell Church!

Honoring God Through Faithful Giving

We were bought at a price—redeemed by the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 6:20). In response, we are called to glorify Him in every area of our lives, including how we give. Giving is an act of worship, a tangible way to express our love for God and our trust in His provision. It’s not just about supporting the church financially; it’s about investing in God’s kingdom and demonstrating our faithfulness to Him.

At Rockwell Church, every gift plays a vital role in sharing the Gospel, discipling believers, sustaining a place of worship and ministry in this prime location, and investing in the future of our church. When we give sacrificially, we acknowledge that all we have belongs to God and that we are stewards of His blessings. Let’s continue to honor Christ with our resources, knowing that our faithfulness in giving reflects our devotion to the One who gave everything for us.

Invest in the Future of Rockwell Church

At Rockwell Church, we stand on the shoulders of those who faithfully invested their time, talent, and treasure to establish the vibrant ministry and welcoming building we enjoy today. Now it’s our turn to carry that legacy forward! Your giving makes an eternal difference, helping us reach more people with the gospel, serve our community, and build a lasting foundation for the next generation. By offering your resources—whether through financial gifts, volunteering your skills, or sharing your time—you join us in shaping a future filled with God’s love and purpose. Let’s continue to make [NAME] Church a place where faith grows and lives are transformed for years to come. Together, we can make a lasting impact!

A Reflection on Giving and Faith

Our giving is more than a financial transaction—it’s a reflection of our trust in Jesus and the condition of our hearts. As Jesus taught in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” When we give, we demonstrate our faith in God’s provision, our gratitude for His blessings, and our commitment to His Kingdom work. Thank you for faithfully supporting the ministry of Rockwell Church. Your generosity enables us to share the love of Christ in our community and beyond. Let us continue to honor God with our giving, as an act of worship and a tangible expression of our faith.

Trusting God with Your Finances

As we step into this new year, we’re reminded of the incredible ways God has worked through our church to impact lives and spread His love. None of this would be possible without the faithful and generous giving of our church family. Thank you for trusting God with your finances and investing in His Kingdom through Rockwell Church.

Giving is more than meeting needs—it’s an act of worship and trust. When we give, we declare that God is our provider and partner with Him in His work. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33 to seek first His Kingdom, trusting that He will provide for all our needs. Every dollar given supports the ministries of Rockwell Church and helps plant seeds of hope and transformation in our community and beyond.

Your generosity enables us to share the good news of Jesus, disciple believers, serve those in need, and provide spaces for worship, prayer, and connection. If you haven’t yet started giving regularly or feel prompted to take a step of faith, we invite you to consider how you can be part of what God is doing through Rockwell Church.

Let’s continue seeking His Kingdom first and watch Him work in powerful ways through us!

Thank You for Your Generosity

As we begin this new year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your faithful giving in 2024. While our general fund fell short of expectations, we were amazed and encouraged by the overwhelming generosity toward our special roof project. Your sacrificial support helped ensure that our facilities remain a safe and welcoming place for ministry and worship—what a blessing!

As we move forward in 2025, let’s commit together to putting God first in every area of our lives, including our giving. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33 to “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,” and when we do, He promises to provide for our needs.

Your giving plays a vital role in sustaining and growing the ministry of Rockwell Church, and we are grateful for every gift. Let’s start this year with hearts fully aligned with God’s purposes, trusting Him to use our resources for His glory.

Thank you for being a part of what God is doing through Rockwell Church

Closing the Year with Gratitude and Generosity

As we gather for the last Sunday of the year on December 29th, we want to thank you for your faithful support throughout 2024. Your generosity has empowered Rockwell Church to share the hope of Christ, disciple believers, serve our community, and cover much of the cost of our new roof, allowing us to take out a smaller loan than anticipated.

If you’d like to make a year-end gift, you can give during the service this Sunday, online anytime before December 31st, or by mail (postmarked by December 31st) to receive a 2024 tax-deductible receipt. While giving is an act of worship and obedience to God—not just for a tax benefit—your contributions ensure we enter 2025 ready to continue advancing His kingdom.

Thank you for partnering with us to make a lasting impact. Let’s close 2024 with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation for all God has in store in the year ahead!

Thank you for being a vital part of our mission. Let’s finish 2024 strong, celebrating all God has done and looking forward to His plans for the new year!

A Heart of Thanks and Hope for the New Year

Your faithful generosity has allowed us to share the hope of Christ, strengthen discipleship, and serve our community with His love. Your support not only sustains our ministry but also strengthens our ability to steward the resources God has given us.

If you haven’t yet made a year-end gift, there’s still time! You can give during our Christmas Eve service, the Sunday services on December 22nd or 29th, online anytime before December 31st, or by mail, postmarked by December 31st, to receive a 2024 tax-deductible receipt. While we give as an act of worship and obedience to God—not merely to receive a tax credit—your support makes a lasting impact.

Thank you for your prayers, cheerful giving and faithful partnership in the gospel. Let’s close this year with hearts full of worship and anticipation for all God will do in the year ahead!

A Season of Giving and Gratitude

As we celebrate the miraculous gift of Jesus this Christmas, we are reminded of the joy and love that come from giving. In John 3:16, we see the ultimate example of generosity: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” Christmas invites us to reflect this love by sharing what God has entrusted to us.

Your year-end gift to Rockwell Church fuels our mission to share the light of Christ with our community and beyond. It enables us to disciple believers, care for our neighbors, and maintain a welcoming space where lives are transformed by the gospel.

As we close 2024, let’s give with hearts full of gratitude and worship. Your faithful giving makes an eternal impact, reaching people with the hope and love of Jesus. Thank you for partnering with us to share God’s goodness in this season and the year to come. May our giving be a reflection of God’s great gift to us this Christmas!

Celebrating God’s Generosity This Christmas Season

As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus, we are reminded of God’s extraordinary gift of love and provision for us. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, we are encouraged that “God loves a cheerful giver.” Giving during this season is not just about meeting needs but reflecting the heart of God in our lives.

Your year-end gift to Rockwell Church helps us continue sharing the hope of Christ in our community and beyond. It supports ministry efforts, discipleship opportunities, and the upkeep of our facilities, ensuring that we can serve effectively in every season.

As we finish 2024, consider making a special Christmas offering as an act of worship and gratitude. Together, we can make a difference, spreading the message of Christ’s love to those in need. Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness.

Let’s celebrate God’s generosity by giving cheerfully and faithfully this Christmas season!

Thankful for God’s Provision in Every Season

There are seasons of abundance and seasons of need in all of our lives. Yet, Philippians 4:19 assures us, ‘And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.’ This is a promise that God’s provision is not based on the economy, our job security, or the financial market—it’s based on His unchanging character. When we give to support the church, we are acknowledging that we rely on God’s provision in every season of life. It can be hard to give when times are tight, but it’s often during these times that our faith grows the most. Trust that as you sow into His kingdom, He will sustain you through every season. Let’s respond in faith, knowing that He is more than able to meet our every need.

Tithing is Christian

Rockwell Church relies on your faithful giving to keep moving forward. God provides for our church through the faithful people who love Him and value the ministries. Giving is a spiritual exercise that strengthens your faith. Sacrificial giving is an act of faith that leads to eternal and earthly blessings. God loves a cheerful giver. Thank you for praying, serving and giving to the Lord’s work through Rockwell Church.

Elmer Towns, in his book Tithing Is Christian, emphasizes the enduring significance of tithing for believers. Acknowledging God’s Ownership. Tithing serves as a tangible acknowledgment that everything we possess belongs to God. By returning a portion of our income, we recognize His sovereignty over our lives and resources. This act of giving reinforces our role as stewards rather than owners, fostering a deeper sense of responsibility and gratitude. “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” — Psalm 24:1

Honor the LORD

Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.” – Prov 3:9-10

Honor the LORD. This requires giving proper weight to your wealth by using it only for righteous, just, and equitable purposes (“in all your ways acknowledge him,” v. 6), which begins with offering the firstfruits of everything to the Lord (see Deut. 18:1–5). To give the firstfruits is to imply that the whole belongs to God, indeed the whole worshiper. The prosperity described in Prov. 3:10 is the blessing of the covenant (Deut. 28:1–14), a kind of restored Eden. Your barns will be filled with plenty is a generalization concerning the effect of honoring the Lord with all that one has and is. It is not, however, more than a generalization (as Job’s comforters held), for to view this as a mechanical formula dishonors God and his inscrutable sovereign purposes. (from crossway.org)

God Owns It All

When we think about giving, it’s essential to recognize a powerful truth: God owns it all. Psalm 24:1 says, ‘The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.’ Every blessing, every possession, every dollar we earn or receive ultimately belongs to God. When we give to the church, we’re simply returning a portion of what He has already entrusted to us. Think of it this way: just as we take care of a friend’s car we borrow or water a neighbor’s plants, God asks us to manage His resources well. By giving to His work, we show gratitude and trust that He will continue to supply what we need. So, as you consider giving today, remember: it’s all His, and He invites us to partner with Him by investing in His kingdom. Let’s respond to His generosity by giving with a grateful heart.

“God prospers me not to raise my standard of living, but to raise my standard of giving.” – Randy Alcorn

Generosity

Proverbs 11:25 “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” Deuteronomy 15:10 “Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to”

It all Belongs to God

“One of the greatest missing teachings in the American church today is the reminder to men and women that nothing we have belongs to us.” — Gordon Macdonald

You should give according to your income, lest God make your income according to your giving. A lot of people are willing to give God the credit, but not too many are willing to give Him the cash.

Psalm 54:6 – “I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will praise your name, Lord, for it is good.”

Seeking The Kingdom

Thank you for contributing to the Kingdom of God when you give to Rockwell Church.  Matthew 6:31–34 says, “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. 34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

Has your Christianity affected your Pockets?

When John Wesley visited his congregations he would question his assistants as to their progress in the faith. He would often ask if their Christianity had affected their pockets? That can be an acid test of our values. To those of you who help support our church financially through your generous offerings to God through Rockwell Church We Thank You! The Apostle Paul said that God would be faithful to provide for those who gave to support the work of the Lord. Phillipians 4:19 says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Who owns your French Fries?

This one was shared by Brian Kluth who has an extensive library of tithing and generosity resources you can order at https://globalgenerosity.org/about

“A steward is like a manager of a local McDonald’s Restaurant who carries out the aims of the owners, maximizes profits, while handling all the problems. Dr. Elmer Towns teaches a stewardship lesson in the Pastor’s Bible Class at Thomas Road Baptist Church which is the most requested lesson of all he has taught. “Who Owns Your French Fries”. It is the story of a man who buys his little boy some french fries. Then the father does what all fathers do, he reaches over and takes one french fry to taste it. The little boy slaps his father’s hand and says, “Don’t touch my french fries.” The father thinks that his son is selfish. The father knows that he bought the french fries and they belong to him. The father knows that his son belongs to him. The father could get angry and never buy his son another french fry again to teach his son a lesson, or the father could “bury” his son in french fries. The father thinks, “Why is my son selfish, I have given him a whole package of french fries; I just want one french fry.” God has given us money, when He asks for a tithe, people figuratively slap His hand and say, “Keep Your hands off my money.” God owns everything we have. He wants us: 1. To manage what we have for His glory. God expects us to manage our time, talent, temple, testimony and treasures. 2. To give back a portion of what he has given us.” – Brian Kluth https://kluth.org

Understanding the Tithe

“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.” – Malachi 3:10

Interesting Commentary on Malachi 3:10 – As an evidence of wholehearted repentance (v. 7), God promises that if his people become faithful in presenting their full tithe (the Hb. word means “a tenth”), then the desperately needed rain will come (v. 10), pestilence and crop failure will cease (v. 11), and the Abrahamic promise that all nations will call you blessed (v. 12; Ps. 72:17) will be fulfilled. The tithes were given to support the priests and Levites (see Neh. 10:38; 12:44), whose ministry was essential if Israel was to be faithful to its calling. By saying, “put me to the test,” God is challenging the people to give the tithe that they owed him and then watch to see if he would be faithful to his promise. God promises to meet all their needs, but not necessarily all their “greeds,” and to pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”   (from https://www.crossway.org/articles/10-key-bible-verses-on-giving )
