On August 1st, 2024 I decided to try the WordPress.com AI editor to see what it would suggest for my weekly sermon invitation post. I chose the informal option and was amused by the results. I do see how this might be a useful tool for writing posts and creating pages. Will be interesting to see how this technology develops and improves.
My Original Post:
“Come hear how trusting in Jesus brings peace and assurance in a world full of uncertainties. In John 14:1-6, Jesus assures his disciples that he is the only way to the Father, the embodiment of truth, and the source of eternal life. This is one of Jesus’ most important teachings that lead Christians to find comfort and courage in trusting in Jesus as their guide, their source of truth in a world full of lies, and their ultimate hope for eternal life. It challenges individuals to surrender their doubts and fears, and to fully rely on Jesus in all aspects of their lives. Be encouraged to trust that Jesus is not just one option among many, but the exclusive and perfect way to God. He is the embodiment of truth in a world of deceits, and the only source of true and eternal life. We are also having communion.”

“Come and listen to how trusting in Jesus can bring you peace and assurance in a world full of uncertainties! In John 14:1-6, Jesus made sure his buddies knew that he’s the only way to the Father, the real deal when it comes to truth, and the one who’s got the hook-up for eternal life. This is one of Jesus’ top teachings that helps Christians find comfort and courage in putting their trust in Jesus as their main squeeze, the go-to for truth in a world full of baloney, and their top prospect for eternal life. It’s a challenge for folks to let go of their doubts and fears and go all in on Jesus in every part of their lives. So, hang in there and trust that Jesus isn’t just one of many options, but the one and only perfect way to get to God. He’s the real deal when it comes to truth in a world full of lies, and the only source of the good stuff – true and eternal life. Oh, and by the way, we’re also going to have communion.”
We thought it was interesting and kind of funny. So I’m not sure which one of those motivates you to come to church this Sunday, but we hope to see you at 10:15am for our one hour worship, message and communion time at Rockwell Church!
