Alcohol enters and stimulates the pleasure center of the brain. The brain is like, ‘Give me more of this toxic chemical that my body is working hard to eliminate, please.’

The interesting article above illustrates beer and tequila talking inside your body. The Bible does not say it is a sin to drink any alcohol but it does say it sinful to get drunk. The wise words given to us by the God who created us also warn us about drinking.

•  Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those led astray by drink cannot be wise. Proverbs 20:1
•  Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 5:18
•  What sorrow for those who get up early in the morning looking for a drink of alcohol and spend long evenings drinking wine to make themselves flaming drunk. Isaiah 5:11
  
• ²⁹  Who has anguish? Who has sorrow? Who is always fighting? Who is always complaining? Who has unnecessary bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes? ³⁰  It is the one who spends long hours in the taverns, trying out new drinks. ³¹  Don’t gaze at the wine, seeing how red it is, how it sparkles in the cup, how smoothly it goes down. ³²  For in the end it bites like a poisonous snake; it stings like a viper. ³³  You will see hallucinations, and you will say crazy things. ³⁴  You will stagger like a sailor tossed at sea, clinging to a swaying mast. ³⁵  And you will say, “They hit me, but I didn’t feel it.
