September 2013 the River Rock Church Missions speaker was the Director of Vision For Chile and Vision for Children that help orphans in Santiago, Chile. Tom Orme was with us for a week and while he was here with us he challenged me to come to Chile and help with the ministry. I said I would pray about it and come if I could come up with the money to pay for trip. My church got excited about the ministry and opportunities and within two months almost all of the funds I need to go to Chile have been provided. Someone even gave me a passport application with a check to pay for it. I am excited about the opportunities and looking forward to the experience that has been given to me. Pray that I will be healthy and all will work out well for this planned trip. Maybe you would like to come with me?
Maybe you would like to help pay for a high school aged girl in my church that wants to go?

Go to Chile February-March. You’ll want to be a part of this ministry!
- Completing the construction of our new multi-purpose building
- Vacation Bible School for boys and girls from the Hogars & Street Kids
- Community Projects and much more.
Come out and help us reach the Community of La Pintana for Jesus Christ. We need men, women and teenagers to come and help us make an impact on the poorest community in the country of Chile. Help us share the love of Jesus Christ. Help us to be the hands and feet that we are called to be. Help us to love those that feel unloved.
Vision for Chile is a Christian ministry, involved in construction projects designed to improve the living conditions of homeless children and the staff in Christian and Missionary Alliance orphanages in Chile. Although construction projects are our main objective, we are also involved in ministry with the children and the staff. Through parties related to cultural events and styles, gifts of love are provided and testimonies are shared with the children.
Local churches also ask us to share our stories of how we came to know God, to preach the Word of God, to provide musical entertainment, and even give dance and/or theatrical presentations in the churches.
We are also involved in ministry to one another through times of sharing devotionals with the mission team around a meal, or just after-hours in the comfort of sleeping quarters.
